Inspiration

The sun is the body
which sustains the life and existence.
Before this humongous sphere of raging fire,
you learn the value of love and sacrifice
and the power of forgiving and forgetting;
to let go of the negativity which pulls you back,
and rise again to your true spirit!

The moon is the soul
of the night sky;
spreading the message of sobriety and humility;
not blinding you with its brightness,
but adding luster to the plain and lifeless,
with its subtle and soothing glow.
Yes! clouds do come often to overshadow,
but nothing can dim the light that shines from within…

The stars reflect your attitude
to shine amidst the darkness and ambiguity.
It ain’t no matter how small or big you seem to be;
face the challenges and
just keep twinkling…

Embrace the change, take the chance…

I am perched upon a brittle branch
holding on to it, as long as I can
waiting for a brisk autumnal breeze
to pluck and carry me away,
away from my little abode…

And I’m afraid of this wave of change
Of what it will bring, to a delicate thing like me
Ambiguity surrounds me
as I twist and twirl
and make several turns,
cross endless boundaries
and swing to and fro
to finally rest on the ground…

And there I found
many more like me
lying there lifeless
wanting to explore
but waiting for a push…

But then, I was airlifted
the sun glowing through my translucence
not blinding me with its brightness
but adding to my undiscovered glimmer
I found myself at a height,
I doubted I could ever reach
that those who dare to fly
can only achieve…

Alas! the moment didn’t last long
as I glided off towards the world beneath,
twisting and twirling again
falling again…

But now I wasn’t afraid
Cause’ I have seen the ‘lift’
and I have seen the ‘glide’
And I have seen the spiritless
I dare to take a chance
I dare to be different…

Swaying with the wind…

This picture reflects such a strong message. It calms the ever-chattering mind and gives so much peace and solace; pacifies the soul and fills it with sobriety. The trees swaying with the wind convey that sometimes we must let go of things which disturb our inner peace. At certain times, we must refrain from being a rebel and just go with the flow. We will definitely alleviate; time heals the pain of grief. We just need to synchronize with it and let ourselves loose; not bonding with the complexity.

Another message is that, people who are great and noble-minded do not show off their worth or rank. They are humble and can easily bend, for good and betterment. Just like those tall trees who bow without shame, while the short ones are as stiff as pole, desperately trying to make themselves more conspicuous. People who are for-bearing and forgiving do not have to grasp attention, their deeds and righteousness is evident.

The morning dew…

Neither of the wind nor of the green, I curl myself into a sparkling crystal sphere and dance merrily on the tip of a leaf.

I emerge from the immense agony of mother Earth which everybody can feel but only few understand.

I am the crystal glory of the forest and a tonic for the parched soil beneath.

I am like the pearls of a shattered necklace adding divinity to wherever I lie and intensifying the beauty of nature.

The sheer sight of me brings joy to the butterfly that gently sucks me up considering it a drop from heaven.

I shine like the twinkle of a mother’s eye full of endearment and affection.

I nourish the environment with my subtle moisture. After all, dryness is not so soothing for the eyes 😊.

With so much positivity and selflessness in me, I am still neglected and out of sight for people…

Nature heals and humbles…

There is something peculiar yet satisfying about nature. There are so many things to learn from it; most important being humility and harmony.

The towering mountains, humongous seas and oceans leaves you in awe. You are forced to bow in front of them. I feel awkward and dejected when people talk about “conquering” mountains. It’s actually the mountain that let’s you pass through it, with utter patience and humility. Hadn’t it been benevolent enough, people would never have climbed it and instead faced it’s wrath.

People living in the shelter of nature share a mutual understanding with it. They respect nature’s beauty and in return, nature cocoons them with tenderness.

Everything under nature lives in symbiosis. The first drop of rainfall cheers up the parched soil and quenches its thirst. The limpid glory which rests itself upon the soft glossy bed of a leaf, looks like pearls which embellish the surroundings. It seems that nature heals those who wish to live in it’s fold.

So, when you go out for adventurous trip, do remember to pack with you, humility, trust, low demands and empathy along with raincoats and boots.

You will find your path more easier to walk on and journey would be all the more pleasant.

The concealed beauty🌌

I can very much compare myself to a nocturnal species like owls!! Having fondness for nights, I tend to appreciate it’s beauty and uniqueness as compared to other times of the day.

The clouds in the night sky look as if some grey water color has spilled on the canvas of sky. With stars doing the highlights, the canvas looks absolutely mesmerising !! An occasional streak of lightning also contributes to the beauty of the scenery.

Standing in the balcony, one must pay heed to the nightly choir of our knightly insects. Such amazing creatures they are!! – Celebrating their warrior spirit as well as heroism amidst solitude and solace, instead of making it a great show!

The petrichor and the herbaceous aroma of the foliage gives one’s nose, plenty of pleasure. It also calms the mind, leaving you in a fantasy land.

With all the beauty, night carries with it, it also gives me a pleasant atmosphere to work as well as concentrate.

Someone has rightly said, that beautiful things are not boastful or pretend to be bright in the daylight. Instead they shine when the world is dark and asleep…

Pitter patter…

The raindrop that feels cool on your face has gone through a lot of heat and pressure. It has survived the storms of distress and suppression, but still remains pure and clear. It is only because of the heat, that the raindrop has discovered new realms and colors of the universe.

These storms are a complimentary and unwanted item in every one’s plate of life. It’s how we embrace them and change the odds into evens, while still maintaining our original form.

“We will appreciate the brightness only when we face the darkness”

Caged glory

Sometimes I wonder what makes peacock our national bird…

Its glorious stance, jaunty pace and swift flights can put anyone to shame. In fact, it’s better to address the peacock as ‘he’ instead of ‘it’.

He drags along his long cape of Kaleidoscopic feathers like a king on his coronation day. Also, he has in his possession a divine crown laid flawlessly on his crest.

Looks like he has painted himself with the finest choice of colours! Shades of blue and violet shimmering bright in the daylight.

The beautifully sculpted eyes of black and white can bewitch you!

And when he senses a sweet drop of rain on him, his tail spreads out like an exquisite Japanese fan.

Standing before this magnificent bird and admiring it, gives so much pride and positive vibes, that it is difficult to keep the eyes off!!

There are so many lovely bird species that mother nature has given us, but something about the peacock always pleases me 😊.

Unusual landscapes

Isn’t it amazing to experience all the variations and colors of life while standing at one location ?! The startling divergence of textures and hues in this scenery certainly captured my heart.

Greenery flourishes alongside the golden dryness. Sandy mountains stand before the blinding snow covered peaks. And the river flows despite of all the differences, adding a glimmer to wherever it flows.

Whoever has laid out such wonders before me, here I stand and admire his creation…

Delta ∆

The mighty and colossal mountains look so insignificant from the window of the airplane. But as the plane slowly lands, they seem to grow rapidly as if by the effect of a magical potion. At one point of time you are looking down upon the mountains with sheer pride and the next moment you’re tilting your head UP to face the humongous beauty standing tall and wide 😀.

The flawless contour of the sky with it’s beautiful nuances of blue does not fail to captivate!
