Who am I ? A human first…

We have recently been into some social work, though I don’t like putting it forward as “work”. We have really mixed in with these three young sisters, who we teach with so much passion and hope.

These three have taught me how to shake it off and LIVE when things are not in favor; smile everyday like never before; challenge the people who think you are less and walk with dignity wherever you go.

The three of them always greet me every morning with a pleasant “Good morning, Didi” which by magic, drives away all my stress and makes the start of my day all the more cheery.

Two days ago, we celebrated the birthday on one of these girls. We did cake cutting, put on some music and had a mighty energetic dance followed by a tired bunch of us. French fries, juices, pizzas, etc had really satiated our hunger.

After few days, when I asked the eldest one what she wanted to become when she grows up, the reply was touching. It left me pondering.

She said, “I want to be like Ma’am (My Mom). Yes! I want to become a teacher. She has taught us passionately and taken so much pain and effort to get us admitted in a school. I have full gratitude for her and that being inspired by her; when I grow up, I would like to help others the way she helped us…”

Analyzing the reply, I realized that how one humanitarian act leads to another; how one moral value inculcated in a person leads to virtue and optimism in and around; how an ideal can actually inspire and influence the world…

The world really needs good people who can lead; lead to a greater, habitable and morally invincible society…Let’s try to be one.

Swaying with the wind…

Photo challenge: weathered

This picture reflects such a strong message. It calms the ever-chattering mind and gives so much peace and solace; pacifies the soul and fills it with sobriety. The treesย swaying with the windย convey that sometimes we must let go of things which disturb our inner peace. At certain times, we must refrain from being a rebel and just go with the flow. We will definitely alleviate; time heals the pain of grief. We just need to synchronize with it and let ourselves loose; not bonding with the complexity.

Another message is that, people who are great and noble-minded do not show off their worth or rank. They are humble and can easily bend, for good and betterment. Just like those tall trees who bow without shame, while the short ones are as stiff as pole, desperately trying make themselves more conspicuous. People who are for-bearing and forgiving do not have to grasp attention, their deeds and righteousness is evident.

Lessons from ‘water’ ๐ŸŒŠ

Image result for water wallpaper

Water is the elixir of life. It represents the soul of an ideal human, beautifully and artfully. We already know the characteristics and properties of water but have we ever looked out for the deeper meaning?

~Water dissolves most of the substances in it. It is a universal solvent.

One should embrace all the positivity and let all the negativity be the residue. We should accept people the way they are. Molding people according to our ways destroy their own essence and beauty.

~Pure water is transparent and crystal clear.

This tells us to have pure and magnanimous heart as well as soul. Having a hidden face or personality can have deleterious effects and break the trust of loved ones.

~Water is unconfined and flows fluently

One must learn to let go off things that are disturbing and make one restless. Keep the life smooth and easy. Forgetting the past and moving on helps a lot to make you live in the present.

~Stagnant water attracts diseases

Halted situations or circumstances may have adverse consequences as well as an unhealthy environment.

~Water takes the shape of it’s container

One cannot always rule their idea or opinion. We must learn to adjust to the situation sometimes, if it’s not in our favor.

~Water is tasteless, colorless, odorless and shapeless

Simplicity is always appreciated as it reduces complications in life.

We should be like water. Having a philanthropic personality that soothes everybody, makes the life of a human more meaningful and fruitful.

~~~~~~”Empty your mind and be formless like water”~~~~~~
A thought : Simplicity
What makes you look rich and dashing? Vero Moda dresses? puffs of blush? flattery heels ? No, please, they don’t !!
“Beauty attracts the eye, but personality captures the heart”
I have a fact that I learnt very recently: The human flesh is so bad that even scavengers don’t prefer to eat it after the death of a person.
So, why have so much obsession with body that has to be ceased and destroyed naturally someday?
The trees still look elegant when they have shed all their glossy shiny leaves; leaves which used to perch merrily upon the branches.
The desert’s beauty is that it looks simple yet is full of life, hidden places and expresses the soul.
Aren’t the black-and-white and monochrome images appealing?
Your beauty does nothing good to others, in fact beauty itself depends upon simplicity ๐Ÿ™‚
We need to adorn ourselves with jewels of humanity and empathy so that we can approach the lower half of the society and help them. They do not feel comfortable to have interaction with people wearing suits, golden watches and all the classy stuff garnished with a fistful of pride.
To understand them we need to sit on the same rug, eat the same food and be a good listener.
Simplicity destroys all the complications. It makes our lives so happy ,carefree and devoid of any anxiety or stress.
Glamorize and embellish yourself from inside, with empathy, love and care and only then can you prosper as a beautiful human being.
Have simple and happy days ahead ๐Ÿ™‚
