I can very much compare myself to a nocturnal species like owls!! Having fondness for nights, I tend to appreciate it’s beauty and uniqueness as compared to other times of the day.
The clouds in the night sky look as if some grey water color has spilled on the canvas of sky. With stars doing the highlights, the canvas looks absolutely mesmerising !! An occasional streak of lightning also contributes to the beauty of the scenery.
Standing in the balcony, one must pay heed to the nightly choir of our knightly insects. Such amazing creatures they are!! – Celebrating their warrior spirit as well as heroism amidst solitude and solace, instead of making it a great show!
The petrichor and the herbaceous aroma of the foliage gives one’s nose, plenty of pleasure. It also calms the mind, leaving you in a fantasy land.
With all the beauty, night carries with it, it also gives me a pleasant atmosphere to work as well as concentrate.
Someone has rightly said, that beautiful things are not boastful or pretend to be bright in the daylight. Instead they shine when the world is dark and asleep…
Sometimes I wonder what makes peacock our national bird…
Its glorious stance, jaunty pace and swift flights can put anyone to shame. In fact, it’s better to address the peacock as ‘he’ instead of ‘it’.
He drags along his long cape of Kaleidoscopic feathers like a king on his coronation day. Also, he has in his possession a divine crown laid flawlessly on his crest.
Looks like he has painted himself with the finest choice of colours! Shades of blue and violet shimmering bright in the daylight.
The beautifully sculpted eyes of black and white can bewitch you!
And when he senses a sweet drop of rain on him, his tail spreads out like an exquisite Japanese fan.
Standing before this magnificent bird and admiring it, gives so much pride and positive vibes, that it is difficult to keep the eyes off!!
There are so many lovely bird species that mother nature has given us, but something about the peacock always pleases me 😊.
Isn’t it amazing to experience all the variations and colors of life while standing at one location ?! The startling divergence of textures and hues in this scenery certainly captured my heart.
Greenery flourishes alongside the golden dryness. Sandy mountains stand before the blinding snow covered peaks. And the river flows despite of all the differences, adding a glimmer to wherever it flows.
Whoever has laid out such wonders before me, here I stand and admire his creation…
I survived 7 days without wifi and network !! I feel on top of the world !!
Wait, I am ACTUALLY on top of the world, at Khardungla pass – world’s highest motorable road which is approximately 18000 ft, in Leh-Ladakh 😀.
Leh- ladakh has got unrivaled beauty and solitude. You won’t believe that this is the place where there is acuteness of oxygen, sparse vegetation, lack of electricity, weak signals of wifi as well as network…. And this makes the place adventurous and all the more captivating. The place seems to be a great attention seeker!
The locals in Leh-Ladakh live a very simple lifestyle. They are polite, friendly, optimistic and united- all the characteristics which define an ideal human. Talking to them is always very pleasing. A group of lovely ladies greeted me with a wide smile. I felt so nice and comfortable 😊.
People here have a great vision and they can sense things better than us. They are highly experienced people who survive the extreme with a cosy smile every single day. Yes! They are warriors and valient heroes.
The clouds soaring in the divine sky tenderly kiss the mountain peaks to form an eye catching and peaceful scenery.
Wherever you go in leh -ladakh you will always find mountains standing tall and high, looking down upon you with curiosity and eagerness. It seems as if each one of them has a story to tell. A story in which they reveal their glory, experience and wisdom.
It’s the place where you can click hundreds of pictures and still can’t get satisfaction! Every new corner unleashes a mesmerising scene accompanied by goddess of beauty.
We drank apricot walnut saffron tea. Natural sweetness of apricot and occasional crunchiness of walnut makes the drink heavenly.
Ever seen a circle rainbow ? 360 degrees ? Wonderful phenomenon it surely is 🌈!!
The sky obsessed with it’s alluring appearance looks down to see it’s reflection in the crystal clear water of Pangong lake.
And the wind that flows, aesthetically carves the sand dunes in Nubra valley.
Can I forget the deadly experience I had in the snowstorm?! My hair were turning white with snow flakes 😂, toes were numb and I am surprised how I was still alive without my jacket on!
There’s always a fight between sun and wind. So we experienced all kinds of weather at the same place 😂. One moment you are a stuffed teddy bear and next moment, sun suddenly becomes dominant and all you can do is to remove all the warm clothes off!
So… What I learnt from this trip?
Beauty lies in simplicity. Your inner self reflects your outer vision.
And as always, nature did not fail to impress me. It once again struck the chords of my heart 😊.
With all the trees standing out tall and distinct with utmost orderliness I get the feeling that nature has to obey some rules of discipline too!
With all the wind that blows my hair back and turn my cheeks rosy, I can feel the peculiar smell of every single tree and breath of every single fauna out there.
The thought that there is life and beauty all around me excites my soul and that, all of this is put in order by Him makes me marvel at his glory.
This is my favourite picture!! The garden looks like an enchanted world. The rhythmic fountain and the colorful foliage has bewitched me. Somebody help me get out of this trance!

Often in in our daily routine we get impressed by various things. A smile will not only make you happy but also make the other person encouraged.
The benefit….It’s priceless !! A smile is the best accessory that both men and women can wear at any time.
You can smile and make others smile too, effortlessly. It’s a way of showing affection. There’s no reason for being happy or passing a token of love.
You get lightened when your wife recieves you at the door with a beautiful smile after you come home from a difficult day in office. She smiles at you without any reason for a reason…To make you feel that you are important.
Isn’t it amazing that a simple curve on the face is full of emotions and can convey a beautiful message !

One day ‘Mr Sun’ got a flying kiss from a lady. He blushed so much that he turned ‘Orange’. 🙂
Ever saw the hues of a setting sun or a sun just sliding from the blanket in early morning ?!
The beautiful orange circle in the sky with its tinted cheeks hides behind a curtain ,just like a popstar waiting for his entry. The curtains slide and he unleashes his beauty and might.
“The sun even shines on those who are ungrateful to him”. The sun, the wind, water and sky the elixirs of life are the only things which today’s greedy human can’t own and can’t classify into relegion, caste or political party. They are common for everybody irrespective of the diversity in this world.
THE SUN…It’s the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The color combinations set by HIM are prettier than the prettiest dress of a woman. The sun is so bright and lovely but he won’t let you see him for long { I think it’s shy 😉 }
You can’t live without its warmth in chilly winters but you still like him when he gets really hot 😎 in summers !! If it wasn’t there ,you would not have had the chance to eat your favorite ice cream.
And sometimes when the blustering winds of autumn hurt, you would like him to come out of those clouds and save you like a hero !!
