Angels and Demons

My sanity screams
as the demons inside me, rage
Bloodshot eyes, gleam
in a dark rattling cage

Oh how, the murky sinister twilight
grazes a crimson battlefield
as the angels and demons, inside
a battle loud and clear, they fight
(seen or heard by none)

Call to these angels;
defend against
those gruesome demons
Weaken them
Draw them back
Lock them up,
back in the cage

They shall not be killed
for they are a part of me;
And a part, you cannot destroy
without the whole, crumbling

My angels, close the shutter
keep them confined
They shall not be killed
but escape, shall none;
For, a monster, you cannot kill
without being one.

  1. The Devil whispered:
    “it’s always been betrayal, heartbreak and lies.
    Too much torment, can’t you see?”
    “Just keep the patience” Echoed a voice.
    That’s when I burnt the angel inside me.

    Your last line was a 💥💣

      1. The angels should always keep the demons under control, and that is what creates balance! Demons will always try to come out when provoked. And angels will always try to guard the soul. Without the devils, where would are angels go?

      2. As per chinese theory yin and yang simplified as there is a good in super bad also and there is bad traces in excellent things also. Yin and yang not balances it shows appearances in all structures. Once side control others means a good or bad present in simple way. The chinese things always complex and can be understood in different ways so it may be complex.

        I am sorry if i confuse you with my statement and this can be taken casually and not in complex way. Have a wonderful day ahead. Cheers 🙏🙋‍♂️🍀

  4. Absolutely amazing and deeply beautiful! You did this so perfectly – having us look inti ourselves to find what we are fighting, wanting to escape/get rid of, where are we looking to become whole? We cannot kill a part without crumbling the whole – so brilliant!
